What's the Difference Between Tikom's L8000 PLUS, L8000 PRO, and G8000 Max?

Published · By the BotLineup editors · Prices and specs as of that date, from the pages under Sources

Summary

The biggest difference is self-emptying: of the three, only the L8000 PLUS product page lists an auto-empty station, with a 3 L bag that holds up to 90 days of debris. Both L8000 models map with LiDAR, while the G8000 Max page doesn't mention LiDAR and adds remote and button control. The names are close enough to mix up, so compare them on each model's own product page.

Wi-Fi support depends on which page you read

The L8000 PLUS product page says it supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, but Tikom's FAQ on connecting the L8000 to the Tuya Smart app says the robot supports 2.4 GHz only. The FAQ doesn't say which L8000 variant it covers, so if your home only has 5 GHz, ask Tikom support ([email protected]) before you buy.

Which one fits

Pick the L8000 PLUS if you want to empty the robot less often, the L8000 PRO if you want LiDAR mapping and no-go zones without a self-emptying station, and the G8000 Max if you'd like to run it from a remote rather than an app.
