eufy, Dreame, or Samsung: What Is Each Brand's Robot Vacuum Best At?
Summary
Each brand leans into something different. eufy focuses on a station that takes over post-cleaning chores, Dreame on camera-and-3D object recognition and clever mop handling, and Samsung on SmartThings app integration. Models within each brand vary a lot, so use the brand to narrow the field and let your floors and clutter decide the final pick.
eufy: a station that handles upkeep
The eufy X10 Pro Omni offers 8,000 Pa suction, iPath laser navigation, and AI.See camera recognition. Its station empties the bin, washes and dries the mops, and refills water, and the roller brush uses the Pro-Detangle Comb to fight hair wrap. It suits pet owners and anyone who wants to touch the robot as little as possible.
Dreame: object recognition and smart mops
The Dreame L60 Pro Ultra maps with VersaLift, a LiDAR sensor that rises only when needed, and uses 3D structured light plus an AI camera to identify what Dreame says are 280+ object types, based on its own lab data. The mops lift 10.5 mm on thin carpet, are removed automatically for thick carpet, and extend up to 40 mm toward walls. The dock holds up to 100 days of debris, again by Dreame's lab figure (checked September 24, 2026).
Samsung: SmartThings integration
The Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo uses deep learning and 3D navigation to recognize floor types and switch between vacuuming and mopping. In SmartThings you can split, merge, and rename rooms, edit furniture placement, and set no-go zones. If your home already runs on SmartThings, managing the robot in the same app is a practical plus.
