How Much of Your Pool Can the WYBOT C1 Clean on Its Own?

Published · By the BotLineup editors · Prices and specs as of that date, from the pages under Sources

Summary

The WYBOT C1 (2026 Upgrade) is a cordless robot that cleans the floor, walls, waterline, steps, and slopes in pools up to 1,615 sq ft. It works in both above-ground and in-ground pools and runs up to 150 minutes per charge. When it finishes, it parks itself next to the pool wall, which takes some of the hassle out of retrieving a cordless robot.

Coverage and modes

It has five modes: full, floor, wall, wall then floor, and Eco floor, and it switches between S-shaped and N-shaped paths. To climb walls, it pushes a jet of water outward and uses the reaction force to hold itself against the surface. WYBOT doesn't publish depth or step-height limits, so if your pool has big depth changes or shallow ledges, ask the seller before you buy.

Charging and scheduling

A full charge takes 3 hours. In the WYBOT app you can change modes, schedule up to four cleanings a week, and receive over-the-air updates. For a scheduled run to happen, the robot has to be out of the pool and charged after the previous one.

Filtration

It collects debris with a 180-micron filter cartridge and dual brushes. WYBOT's FAQ says the C1 is designed for debris cleaning, not ultra-fine filtration, so cloudy water is still a job for your pool's own filter system.

Price

List price is $569.99; it was selling for $399.99 in WYBOT's store when we checked. The robot weighs 17.6 lb and comes with a two-year warranty.
