What Do You Get With Yoolax's $200 Window Cleaning Robot, and What Isn't Listed?
Summary
The Yoolax window robot sells for $199.99 and comes with about 3,000 Pa of suction, spray nozzles on both sides, app and remote control, and a UPS that keeps it from dropping right away if the power fails. What the product page leaves out is just as important for a window robot: how long the UPS holds, how long and how strong the safety rope is, the smallest window it can handle, and the cord length. If the low price is what draws you in, get those answers from the manual or the seller before you buy.
What the page lists
Yoolax rates suction at about 3,000 Pa and bearing force at 7 kg. Nozzles on both sides spray water from the side facing the direction of travel, either automatically or on command, and the robot calls out when its 50 ml tank runs low.
You can choose from three automatic cleaning paths or steer it yourself, and a Fixed Point Deep Cleaning mode works on one stubborn spot. Control is through the Yoolax Home app or the included remote.
If the power goes out
The robot sounds a voice alarm, and its UPS power-off protection keeps it from falling immediately. The page doesn't say how many minutes that protection lasts. Yoolax recommends using the safety rope every time you run the robot.
Missing from the product page
- How long the UPS holds the robot on the glass
- Safety rope length and tensile rating
- Minimum window size, and whether frameless glass works
- Power cord length
- How many cleaning cloths come in the box
For a high exterior window, those gaps decide whether you can anchor the rope and reach an outlet at all. Other brands publish these numbers, so when you compare, weigh Yoolax's lower price against how little it tells you.
