What Should You Know Before Buying the Osmo RoboClean Window Robot?
Summary
The RoboClean sold on osmo-official.com lists 3,200 Pa of suction, an 80 mL tank with dual auto-spray, path planning with edge detection, a safety rope, and an emergency backup battery. As of September 23, 2026, the sales page leaves out the price, the rope's length and strength, how long the backup battery holds, the window sizes it works on, and the name and address of the company behind it. Ask the seller about those, along with warranty and return terms, before you order.
What the page lists
- Suction: 3,200 Pa
- Water tank: 80 mL, with misting in two directions
- Navigation: AI path planning and edge-detection sensors that avoid the frame
- Safety: a safety rope with buckle and an emergency backup battery
- Power: AC adapter
- Weight and noise: 2.4 lb, under 65 dB
- Surfaces: glass, marble, tile, and smooth wood
In the box: the robot, a remote, an AC adapter and cord, the safety rope, and four microfiber pads.
How setup works
The page lays out three steps: secure the safety rope, fill the tank and place the robot on the window, then start it with the remote. Because it runs on AC power, the cord has to reach an outlet from the window. Treat the backup battery as time to retrieve the robot during an outage, and use the rope every time.
What the page doesn't tell you
- The price (it shows promo codes but no dollar amount)
- Safety rope length and strength, and backup battery hold time
- Minimum window size
- Warranty length (there is a 60-day money-back guarantee)
- The operating company's name, address, or contact details (the footer says only "© 2026 Osmo")
When we looked on September 23, 2026, the page also gave two different review counts, "5,127+" in one place and "289,432+" in another. A sales page with no company name, address or price is a reason to hold off, or at least to pay by a method with buyer protection. It says nothing about any connection to DJI's Osmo camera line, and other sellers also sell window robots under the RoboClean name.
