ECOVACS Has a Lot of WINBOT Models. How Do You Tell Them Apart?

Published · By the BotLineup editors · Prices and specs as of that date, from the pages under Sources

Summary

The main dividing line is whether a model comes with an OMNI station and what that station does for you. The W2S PRO has no station and costs $399.99, the W2S PRO OMNI adds one for $599.99, and the W3 OMNI, whose station also washes the used pads, is $599.00. Most of the price gap comes from that difference. The compact mini series sits apart from the rest.

What's in the current lineup

The WINBOT listing in ECOVACS's US store showed these models (prices as of our check):

The W2 PRO was sold out, and the W1 PRO showed no price.

What an OMNI station adds

On the W2 PRO OMNI and W3 OMNI, the station automatically reels in a combined power-and-safety cable and doubles as a carrying case and storage base. On the W2 PRO OMNI, the station houses a large battery that runs the robot for about 110 minutes away from an outlet. The W3 OMNI station also washes the used wiping pads in about a minute.

Choosing

If most of your windows are near an outlet and you don't mind carrying the robot around, the W2S PRO is enough. If you have large windows far from outlets or want tidier cable handling, go with an OMNI model. If you'd rather not hand-wash pads either, that's the case for the W3 OMNI.
